晉:康侯用,錫馬蕃庶,晝日三接。

初六:晉如摧如,貞吉。罔孚

晉:康侯用
,錫馬蕃庶,晝日三接。

晉卦:康叔被委以諸侯的任務,賞賜許
多馬匹,一天之內受到多次接見。


康:
中國周朝的衞烈祖康叔,又被稱為康叔封,是周武王的同母弟,獲武王封畿內之康國。

Shu of Wey–Kang of the Zhou Dynasty in China. He is the younger brother of King Wu of Zhou. To distinguish him from King Wu's son, we call him Duke Kang here.

錫:
在此解為「賞賜」。
Here it means "reward".

蕃庶:
讀「繁樹」,
繁盛、眾多、滋生的意思。
Read "fan shu", which means prosperous, numerous, and bred.


武王之子成王年少即位,初期帝位不穩,有貴族發起「三監之亂」。做為親叔叔的康侯是平亂重臣之一,自然也是國家重要決策的商量對象。成王與其子康王均以勤政聞名,成就了周朝約四十年的安定繁榮。

The son of King Wu, King Cheng, came to the throne at a young age, and the throne was unstable in the early days, and some nobles initiated the "Rebellion of the Three Guards". As an uncle, Duke Kang is one of the most important ministers to pacify the chaos, and is naturally the object of discussion for important national decisions. King Cheng and his son King Kang were both famous for their diligent administration, and they achieved the stability and prosperity of the Zhou Dynasty for about 40 years.

三表多,三接表示多次接見。除了表現出康侯重要的政治地位外,亦展現了成王的勤政。亦即上下齊心努力的樣子。

There are more than three appearances, and the three interviews not only show Duke Kang's important political status, but also show the diligence of King Cheng. That is, it looks like everyone is working hard together.

任何事業體(家庭、企業、國家)的經營都是一樣的。只有上下齊心努力,有商有量,並給予有功者相對映的豐厚獎勵,才可成就一番風景。

The operation of any business entity (family, business, country) is the same. Only by making concerted efforts from the top and bottom, having discussions, and giving generous rewards to those who have made merit, can a landscape be achieved.

初六:晉如摧如,貞吉。罔孚

最初的陰爻:在進退兩難的情況下,堅守正道是最好的法。在剛開始沒有信任基礎的情況下,保持平常心的相處就不會有問題。

Six at the beginning means: When faced with a dilemma, sticking to the right path is the best way. If there is no foundation of trust at the beginning, it will not be a problem to keep a normal heart.

摧:
在此解為
「退」。
Here it means "retreat".

罔:
在此解為「沒有」。
Means "no" here.

孚:
信用。
Cedit.

裕:
從容,不費力的樣子。
Calm, effortless appearance.

六二:晉如愁如,貞吉。受茲介福,于其王母。

位於第二層的陰爻:整體狀況是向前進的,但不免心中擔憂,此時一樣堅守中道就會一切順利。得到這樣大的富貴康泰,都要感念給予這一切平安基礎的祖先。

Six in the second place means: The overall situation is moving forward, and most people can't help but worry. At this time, stick to the middle way and everything will go well. To obtain such great wealth and prosperity, we must be grateful to the ancestors who gave all these peaceful foundations.

茲:
當副詞用時為「更加的」。
"More" when used as an adverb.

介:
當形容詞時有
「大、善、好」的意思。
When used as an adjective, it means "big, grand, good".

王母:
當康侯指的是周武王的同母弟康叔封時,王母便是指其二人的母親太姒。

六三:眾允,悔亡。

位於第三層的陰爻:獲得大家的認同,不好的事不會發生。

Six in the third place means: With everyone's approval, bad things won't happen.

九四,晉如鼫鼠,貞厲。

位於第四層的陽爻:像飛鼠般的滑翔前進,此時若堅守太多細則就不好了。

Nine in the fourth place means: Gliding forward like a flying squirrel, it is not good to stick to too many principles at this time. 

鼫鼠:
一種可以滑翔的飛鼠。鼫:音同「石」。

六五:悔亡,失得勿恤。往吉無不利。

位於第五層的陰爻:不好的事不會發生,得失之間不要太在意。前方一切順風順水沒有不好的。

Six in the fifth place means: Bad things won't happen, don't worry too much about gains and losses. Everything is going well ahead.

上九:晉其角,維用伐邑,厲吉無咎,貞吝。

位於最上方的陽爻:發展已達一個時期的頂點,如同動物頭上的角。此時若只會用武力攻打的方式去征服他國,雖然手段猛暴但沒有罪責。但若堅持使用這樣的方法,會影響到既有的好名聲。

動物頭上的角雖然是頂端,但隨著時間仍會持續自然增長。此時建議以軟實力使近悅遠來,以維持良好形象。

台灣在鄭成功據守之前,早已存在一個原住民王國,名為「大肚王國」。在鄭氏的墾荒工作達初期的高峰時,與原住民發生重大紛爭。在武力衝突下,鄭氏大獲全勝,並將王國人民屠殺近乎全滅,取得王國土地,並持續發展。在漢人及政府有意為之的優勢文化宣教下,鄭氏在台灣一度成了人民尊敬的「國姓爺」,甚至建廟敬拜。隨著近代台灣相關史料的逐漸發現,大肚王國屠殺事件浮出枱面,鄭氏的「好」形象逐漸蒙塵。

晉卦為臣子受君王信任而可大展身手的卦象,故行至九四已是臨界,踏至九五尚可被器量大的君王接受,但越過九五挑戰九六,則為大忌,故需適時的停步退隱,才是聰明的選擇。

古代君王稱為九五之尊」,易經六十四卦中的第一卦「乾為天」卦,亦行至九五為頂峰,至九六則轉為「亢龍有悔」,反而不吉。
